Solid Silicone Rubber
Solid silicone rubber is versatile for use as gaskets and seals in a variety of industry. Its ability to resist temperature extremes, UV, ozone, and many chemicals ensures it will last in nearly any condition. It also resists erosion, is highly tear resistant, and is an excellent electrical insulator. Versions available to meet FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.
Applications include: High temperature separators or gaskets, direct food contact rub protector, outdoor access panel seal.
