Solid Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) Rubber
Solid EPDM rubber provides excellent resistance to heat, ozone, and uv light degradation. It resists deterioration from alkalis, acides, and oxygenated solvents, while providing superior resistance to water and steam. Military versions meet MIL-R21252, MIL-R-900, MIL-R-83285. Food grade version meets FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and NSF version meets NSF/ANSI / Can 61.
Applications include: Vehicle weather stripping, electrical insulation, window spacers, industrial belting, compressor grommets
- Excellent resistance to ozone, UV, and weather
- Good abrasion and tear resistance
- Outstanding longevity
- Very wide operating temperature range
