Our Capabilities
Precision Toolless Cutting
Our toolless cutting capabilities give us the ability to fabricate complex custom parts with precision and speed. Whether you need dimensional parts, precision cuts that include holes, slots, or fenestrations, or are looking to eliminate edge concavity, our cutting capabilities are the solution. We can cut most materials to create intricate shapes and cutouts without the tooling costs associated with die cutting, giving you the cost-effective fabrication you need for small production runs, extremely large parts, thick foam parts orders, or rapid prototypes.
— LASER CUTTING
A great way to create highly precise cuts in flexible tapes and foams.
Laser cutting is the most precise way to cut and fabricate small complex shapes with extreme repeatability and precision.
Parts can be cut and weed can be burned away, enabling extraordinarily tight radiuses and thin profiles. Because laser cutting requires no tooling and the cutting method is very precise, tight radius parts and small intricate designs can be scaled up with confidence.
— WATERJET CUTTING
The ideal option for specialty materials that may deform with other fabrication methods.
With waterjet cutting, materials are cut with an extremely highly pressurized stream of water that cuts a very clean-cut edge. It can create highly complex parts and is often used to create three-dimensional shapes.
This toolless cutting method is ideal for cutting rigid or thick foams and dimensional shapes. It also has very little limitation on part size and can accommodate up to several inches of material thickness. Whether the need is large dimensional parts or superior edge quality, waterjet cutting produces foam and rubber parts of superior quality.
— KNIFE CUTTING
Used for specialty sheet materials, lower volumes, or extremely large shapes.
Knife cutting (also known as flash cutting) is a process where a specialty tape, foam, rubber, or other engineered material is placed on a vacuum cutting table, where a blade, cutting wheel, or router cuts shapes out with precision.
Flash cutting works extremely well for large format part shapes, lower volume runs, or where optimizing material cost is critical. It also has no upfront tooling cost, can have very low part waste utilizing nesting programs, and can be used on most materials. Due to the cutting methods available, material thicknesses of over an inch can be cleanly cut.
