Our Capabilities

Adhesive Tape Slitting

Our slitting, spooling, and sheeting capabilities allow us to create any size roll of adhesive tape and other materials to help increase your production productivity. From standard sizes to custom widths and lengths, we can provide tape level-wound on a spool of several thousand feet. We can also slit or perforate sheets of material to your exact dimensions. Whatever the need, our capabilities help you increase the speed, accuracy, and consistent quality of your assembly process. Tape slitting, spooling, and sheeting also allows you to reduce costs by decreasing waste and material loss and limiting roll change-outs during manufacturing products runs. We use high-speed controlled equipment to precisely slit, perforate, and sheet a wide range of materials that include industrial tapes, PSA tapes, foils, foams, rubber, insulation, plastic films and more.

— SINGLE KNIFE SLITTING

Ideal for narrow widths, shorter runs, or tapes cut into uncommon widths

When you’re looking for narrow or less common widths, single knife slitting is the right process for you. Our tape slitting machines seamlessly cut through most materials of any width, producing rolls with clean edge. Typical roll widths are between 0.25 inches to 60 inches wide.

Because setup time is reduced in single knife slitting, production runs can have fast turnarounds while keeping minimum order limitations low.

— REWIND SLITTING

Rewind slitting is a high-volume process that is ideal for longer production runs and rolls of longer lengths

During this process, blades are set up across the web and the slitter rewinder machine makes cuts to the entire master roll of material, yielding smaller width rolls of a specified width that are wound onto individual cores to the desired length. Rewind slitting is a highly efficient process that allows for fast turnaround times and tight tolerances. Our slitter rewind machines can handle many types of materials, including exposed pressure sensitive adhesive tapes.

— ROTARY SLITTING

When you are looking for the highest precision width and length rolls, or need widths less than 0.25”, rotary slitting will provide the high accuracy that you need

With multiple servo-controlled unwind and winding stations, and high precision slitting dies, we create roll widths that are accurate to within a few thousands of an inch. Your roll lengths will be exact. Ultra-thin widths can be slit and wound to the right length to ensure long-term roll integrity.

— SPOOLING

Spooling/traverse wound tape is the process of slitting and winding material logs into longer lengths than is available through other slitting methods

Consolidating multiple rolls of tape onto a single spool by traverse winding the tape across a much wider core avoids the telescoping challenges of long length planetary rolls. Longer spools can be used for high-volume manufacturing runs and those with automated processes or machine counterparts.

Spooling saves time by minimizing roll change over and subsequent equipment downtime.

— SHEETING

Sheeting is the process of slitting and converting materials into individual sheets of a specified width and length

Multiple parts can be slit, perforated and cut, which can then be stacked on top of one another and bundled. This gives you the exact part size required instead of having to manually cut sheets to your specifications by hand. For rectangular parts, this process also eliminates some of the waste inherent in die cutting.

We offer custom dimensions for sheets with tight tolerances that improve uniformity in your materials. Our sheeting machines work with many materials and can output large quantities of materials with quick turnaround times.
