At Engineered Materials our Mission includes contributing to the financial health and wellness of our company and employees, meeting the needs of our customers, and growing our business through our hard work and honest efforts. Our Mission also calls us to maintain good citizenship as a company. Partly we work to give back to the community in which we live.
We have established as a goal to give 2 percent of our pretax profits to charitable organizations operating locally in our community, in Minnesota where we live, and throughout our country and beyond.
Current recipients of financial gifts from Engineered Materials include The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota, the Mustang Club, the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge Campaign, and the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
The Lupus Foundation provides education, support and service to those affected by lupus, promotes awareness and understanding of lupus to others, and supports research that seeks to improve the diagnosis and treatment of lupus, as well as to discover its cause and cure. The Mustang Club was established to provide support to our local high school, Mounds View. The Mustang Club supports all areas at the school including academics, fine arts, and athletics with purchases that the school is unable to fund with the goal of maintaining and providing quality programs for all. See www.moundsviewschools.org/moundsview and click on "Mustang Club".
The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge Campaign is a matching challenge campaign established to raise funds for permanent housing for adult cancer patients and their caregivers traveling long distances for outpatient treatment in the Twin Cities and Rochester. The Schulze Family Foundation matches each donation.

The Greater Twin Cities United Way Community Fund supports key areas including nurturing children and families, meeting basic needs, and supporting health and independence throughout the local metro area.
